Hey guys, I am stoked (a very Australian word :)) to see that Freedom Writing and Freedom Writing Journal is Number 2 in the USA, Number 22 and 23 in Canada and Number 35 in the UK on the Best Seller Lists.
Thanks so much for readers who are buying my books. It is available in print and e-book on Amazon and other online retailers in your country. I will be releasing more work this year, but the next book is fiction. I am very excited about it. 🙂
Write it down, and even if it is not grammatically correct or even artistic, express your feelings on paper and they will be released from your body, mind and spirit. This is the central tenet of writing therapy. 😀 Thanks Anne for being such a brave and beautiful person, and expressing what you experienced in hiding so that others could know about it. Anne wrote in her diary this was her writing therapy, then she produced a book that was rewritten by her older self to be read by others. The diary represents the more raw and honest writing, that is pure writing therapy. This is a quote from her diary about writing things down.
“The nicest part is being able to write down all my thoughts and feelings; otherwise, I’d absolutely suffocate. (Anne Frank, 16 March 1944.)”
One of my readers sent me this image yesterday of how she was enjoying using the journal from my Freedom Writing Journal book. It had text all over it. 😄 I’m so glad that she has started using it. Thanks so much Vicky – I blurred out the text for privacy. 😄💜
“I am having an hour at a cafe on my own reading your wonderful tips and doing the writing practice you so beautifully recommend. It’s bliss! No kids and just your wise words to keep me company.”
I always appreciate when readers contact me and show me they are using my book. It makes me happy! People are benefitting from it. 😀
Hey guys, I have released a new book that builds on Freedom Writing, it has meditations, quotes and questions to get you started on the journalling journey. It has information as well about writing therapy. It’s available in e-book and print versions in your country on Amazon and other platforms. Have a great day!
Here’s a summary of what’s in it:
“In this encouraging and inspiring book, Suzanne has designed seven journal writing prompts including quotes to get you started on your journey. The Freedom Writing Journal includes exercises to provoke thought and questions that will showcase the power of writing therapy when a person delves deeply into their own inner world. These exercises will help anyone who wants to experience freedom from stress or pain that is possible through journal writing. This book is a second edition to her first book Freedom Writing and is based on ten years of research, and personal experience with the power of writing therapy.”
