This is how I feel about my novel, there is a story within me that had to come out.
Though I might say, that I feel as if I am channeling the stories of these real life women fighting in Syria. I am endeavouring and putting all my energy into telling their stories in the most authentic, accurate and faithful manner. To honour them in a way, but ultimately to simply tell their story.
